A more delicious Tofu

tofu with smoked salt

Type: Vegan Appetizer

Preparation time: 2 minutes Cooking time: 4 minutes  Standby time: 2 hours General Time: 2 hours and 6 minutes

• ½ of a tofu (medium or extra firm, about 200 gr)
• 1 tbs. smoked salt by Salt Odyssey®
• 3-4 garlic cloves (whole, crushed)
• 1 radish (thin slices)
• 4 strawberries (cut in the middle)
• 1/3 fresh onion (top)
• 1 tbs. soy sauce
• freshly ground pepper
• 1 tbs. virgin olive oil
• ½ tsp. powdered ginger
• 1 tbs. honey
• 1 tbs. spicy mustard
• 100 ml fresh orange juice


Cut the tofu into 4 proportional slices and place it in a rectangular small pan.

In a small bowl, pour the following: oil, soy sauce, orange, mustard, honey, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper, mix very well until they become a single mixture, it will look like dressing salad but a bit more fluid.

Marinate the tofu for 1 hour (not in the refrigerator).

Get the frying pan (or grill) very hot and place the tofu.

Bake well from both sides (each side about 1.5 minutes). Roll the strawberries and slices of radish in the marinade and bake them as well as the garlic.

Remove on a plate, garnish with fresh chopped onion and serve immediately.

Also, by warming the marinade and adding 1 tbs. of flour for all uses we can get a thick sauce for instant use or we just put it in the refrigerator for the next time (can be kept for 6 days)
